Storytelling as a Strategic Advantage

"A Story Is Worth More than Strong Qualifications Alone."

Experimenting with this WordPress “Story” feature…not sure what I think of it yet.

I’ve had this book for a while, finally digging into it. This quote resonated with me because I feel it is underrated in the tech world. Not only that, even those outside of tech, while more aware of the importance of stories, may not be good storytellers. But a strong narrative can be very powerful, for better or worse. We should all learn how to tell stories.

    1. Mudpuddle, I was just thinking about it the other day, and the wonderful feedback you and Sharon gave me! I’ve been mentally editing and prepping to get back into it… I’ve decided to cut the first chapter and tighten up the narrative, hopefully making it easier to follow. ๐Ÿ™‚ Also plan to expand on the character of Nicholas. I just need to find the time and energy (sigh)…

      1. i’ve noticed in the past that sometimes conceptions have a path of their own: problems that seem difficult have a way of sorting themselves out in the back of our minds w/o us being aware of it… spooky, sometimes, haha…
