Some of you may know I’ve been working on a poetry book.
It was all going well, and then I reached a bit of a dead end. I can’t seem to figure out a good cover for it!
So, please comment below with links to your favorite book covers. Maybe I’ll get some inspiration. ๐
what are the poems about? i like trees… doug firs are good… and cedars… how do i get a copy when it’s published?

I like the trees idea, I’ve had that in mind as an option, too!
I still need to write a blurb, but basically the poem is divided in 3 parts representing different times of life and a sort of birth/growth/death cycle in each. Topic-wise, the poems are all over the place. Mostly about life experiences like childhood, growing up, love, faith, mental health, and friendship. There’s some haiku in there as well. ๐
It’s going to be on Amazon, but I plan to give away a lot of copies too, so stay tuned…

Boy, I am NOT good at coming up with artistic ideas. But I like Mudpuddle’s idea about trees. Anything to do with nature is always appealing.
I will buy my copy when it comes out, like I did with your book. Every starving artist needs that support, lol!

Oh, I found one that might be appealing. Look at the cover to A Teaspoon of Earth and Sea. The artistic idea is very interesting.

That is beautiful!! Silhouette was another concept I liked. Maybe combining it with trees somehow?
And also, thank you! It means a lot when someone actually spends money on something you wrote. ๐

Lol! I bought my copy on Amazon but since I’m now trying to boycott them, I’m going to try to find another way to purchase it.

Someone recently informed me it’s showing up on Walmart! I don’t know when it started being listed there, whether it was from the beginning or not, but I’m pretty pleased. ๐
