Bookshelf Tour! – Vlog – Part 1

In this first episode, I’ll be going through some books on my physical to-read (and to-reread!) shelf. There’s all kinds of classics here, from Jane Eyre and The Count of Monte Cristo, to Emily Dickinson and William Faulkner. Also present are a few history books and fiction based on historical events. Enjoy, and let me know if you’ve read any of these!

P. S. Sorry for the shaky video and abrupt transitions (didn’t know there was a fifteen minute cutoff…it was better before the final edit, alas). Next time methinks I’ll get a tripod.

  1. This is an impressive list of books that you plan to read. I think that it is a good thing that you have rereading included in your plans. I actually plan to start Silas Marner myself within a few days. I will eventually have s blog up on it.

  2. impressive collection; insufficient band width meant i couldn't see all the books, but the ones i could were great; and many i haven't read… interesting idea; i'd try something similar, but my anti-tech brain probably would collapse at the staggering complexities…

  3. Thanks, Mudpuddle, I'd enjoy seeing your collection as well! Mine is a random assortment, which makes it fun when going back and revisiting each book.Sorry to hear about the bandwidth issues… It may help you to lower the quality to 360p? YouTube is supposed to adjust it automatically, but you can also change it by clicking the gear/HD icon and then choosing \”Quality\”. I will probably make the video shorter next time, too, which should help. ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. It's amazing how that era in particular produced classics of both horror and comedy. I'll have to check those out! I did read his brother Robert Hugh Benson's novel Lord of the World, which is dystopian. They were quite a literary family, I think.
