Palm Sunday

Now is the judgment of this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out. And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself.

John 12:31–32 (NKJV)

A blessed Palm Sunday to everyone observing, and love to all. ❤️

  1. Indeed! The service today was a bit of mood whiplash (jubilation and then the Passion reading), but there’s nothing like the beginning to Holy Week.

    1. Yeah… I tried to steel myself against tearing up this year, but as it turns out, my new church reads the Passion out in parts, with the congregation taking the lines of the mob. It was heart-wrenching, and humbling.

      1. We do that, too! Major players have separate people read them (I did Pilate last year & Judas this year) the choir does some mass parts (the high priests, the disciples), and the congregation does the mob scene. The man who read Jesus for us this year was exceptional….when he cried “Eloi, eloi, lama sabachthani” it was almost overwhelming.
